For many, this year’s harvest has been one of the earliest on record, with dry conditions persisting throughout the season. AHDB has reported it as the earliest harvest start date since 2006. While crop yield reports are varied, 2025 is shaping up to be a historically poor harvest. On a more positive note, with fields now cleared, autumn planting can hopefully begin before any adverse weather arrives.
